IGA Supermarket upgrade

The Krnc brothers who own the Hackett IGA supermarket are planning to demolish the existing store and rebuild a larger state of the art full service supermarket. Work is expected to commence around April next year subject to the time taken to receive government approval and organise the necessary workforce.

The Hackett Community Association is pleased that the Krnc brothers are willing to invest in the local community and provide Hackett residents with a larger and more functional supermarket.

The work is expected to take many months and during this time there will be no supermarket and some disruption to the shopping precinct. The Hackett Community Association will be in close communication with the owners to ensure that minimum disruption is caused to the 50th birthday party celebrations which will take place over the 21 -22 September 2013 weekend.
